Runs like gas.
Came across this old Amoco sign. Actually drive pass it frequently and just never noticed it.

A few years ago I encountered an intact, but not operating, Amoco station while out for a drive in the middle of nowhere. I should go see if it's still around.

This reminds me. There’s an old building downtown with an Alfa Romeo sign on it half covered in ivy.

Looks like it actually still has pretty good color in the parts they didn’t quite paint over.

That was my go to gas from the day I got my drivers license until I drove west of the Mississippi in my thirties and never went back. It all became BP when I left.

You should go get a picture of that before it’s gone.

I really do need to. Would be great if I could hook up an alfa to park in front of it.

There was an old payphone at the edge of the road where an ancient motel was torn down. It sat there for years, all remnants of a motel gone. Payphone at the edge of the road in the middle of nowhere. I finally went to take a picture of it and it was gone.
